Students gave away cake pops on campus last week and asked the question, "What are you thankful for this season?" It was a great opportunity to start up some spiritual conversations in the Student Union and surprise students with a sweet treat! Would you join us in praying for the spiritual seeds that have been planted this semester?
In this season, we are feeling an immense sense of gratitude for what God has been doing in the lives of college students this Fall, and what he has faithfully done for the last 25 years on the campus of the University of Illinois at Springfield!
You have watched with us as God has moved in the lives of our friends, children, churches, and in our own lives as a result of campus ministry. Your financial gift towards our end-of-year goal of $13,000 can help even more students find their way back to God . As you consider impacting students, we're excited to share too that this year, a generous donor has provided a matching grant for the first $1,500 given, doubling the impact of your donation!
Before Christmas, Black Friday, even before Giving Tuesday, would you choose to GIVE FIRST to CSF?
This semester we've been talking about the way Jesus described himself in scripture. He makes it clear again and again that He is the ONLY way to real life....2 students responded to his invitation last Monday night, and more are talking about it and counting the cost. Please pray for students at UIS and LLCC to find their way, the Truth, and the life Jesus offers!
Mondays this semester we've been studying the 7 I AM statements of Jesus....the Door, Light of the World, Bread of Life, Good Shepherd....setting aside some incorrect things we've learned about Jesus and letting him introduce himself to us in his own words.
If you want to grow spiritually this year, coming to The Edge once a week isn't enough.....join a CSF Small Group!! Sign up at The Edge this Monday.
Coming to college can be a scary, exciting adventure. CSF is a place where you can find other students just like you - - students who like to eat nachos, throw a frisbee, ask spiritual questions, and look for meaning. CSF is all about helping students like you find their way back to God.
Launch Day is 1 day set aside to help fund high-impact events during the first few weeks of the school year. Every year we meet hundreds of students through these events, and recognize each one as an opportunity to help them find their way back to God. WE NEED YOU to give on Launch Day, August 2nd, so we can continue to make a difference at UIS!
Christian Student Fellowship
is a place for students at the University of Illinois Springfield who are on a spiritual journey. Whether you're just starting out or you've been headed this way for awhile, we want to help you find your way back to God!
