Fingerprints

We were getting ready to take our traditional CSF picture at one of this summer's weddings with students and staff from various years when our white-haired friend insisted he should be in the photo.

And he was right.  Ken Wells is probably the oldest CSF'er.  

When CSF began at Sangamon State University in 1993, Ken Wells was one of the very first Board Members.  Despite not having any money, experience, and no idea what we were doing, Ken was always the first to say, "God knows what He's doing!"

23 years later, Ken's grandson, Josh, was a student at UIS and found a faith community at CSF.  This past weekend, Josh got married surrounded by family, friends, and the CSF community.

Many of our students will never know Ken Wells.  They may not know his name or be able to pick him out in a crowd, but hundreds of men and women at UIS have found their way back to God because of Ken and faithful men and women like him.
