For the month of November, our Monday Night Worship series is called If/When/How?: Exploring God's heart for Justice. David layed a groundwork with this definition: to do justice is to reflect God’s heart by ensuring all people in His creation receive the full benefits of life with Him.
One of the way students determined they could address this in a practical way was in the area of food insecurity. They participated in the UIS Trick or Treat for Canned Goods and collected almost 1500 lbs of food, taking 1st place out of 12 student teams.
We're looking forward to several more weeks challenging students to consider how our day-to-day practices can reflect God's heart.
