Nigerian Culture Night

UIS attracts students from all of the world, and for the last few years, we've had a larger-than-normal number of students coming from Nigeria to student at UIS.  These students have been teaching us lots about not only life in their home country, but new perpspectives on faith, discipleship, and evangelism.  

For the 2nd year in a row, our Nigerian students hosted a Culture Night to share about their foods, customs, and languages with American students and other international students.  They cooked amazing traditional foods and came dressed in some of the most beautiful garments.  As our community works to do life together on campus, events like these help us to know one another more deeply and even to rejoice in our differences!
