Happy Labor Day Weekend!  
While many students are headed home for the weekend, many more will be on campus!  If you're looking for a church to try out, feel free to contact one of the CSF leaders for a ride - - it's a great weekend to try something new!

Make sure you come back in time for The Edge on Monday at 9pm in the Student Life Building Multi-Purpose Rm*.  David will be teaching and you don't want to miss it!

*If you don't know where the SLB is, you can meet Madi Stone in the LRH Lobby at 8:40pm to walk over together :)

Small Groups Start This Week!
​Start your semester off right by connecting with a Small Group Bible Study!  Groups of students meet weekly to open up God's word and talk about how to live it out in our lives.  Find a time that works, make some friends, eat some snacks, and get some encouragement to live out your faith!

Time to register for Fall Retreat!
Don't miss this great opportunity to build some deeper relationships in CSF, enjoy the great outdoors (as well as real beds and showers!), and get some great biblical teaching from our speaker, Adam Lanter, from Southside Christian Church!

4-5:30pm
Come and love on some kids at the Northside Children's Community Library!  We'll be doing a painting project, so come prepared to get messy.  Meet in front of LRH at 3:30pm, and we'll return to campus in time for 6pm classes!   Sign up at The Edge!

Be A Reading Mentor!

Do you need to get in some volunteer hours?  Or just looking for a place to give back?  Get paired up with a child at McClernand Elementary School in Springfield for the 2016-2017 school year and provide encouragement and relational support as you listen to them read every week...and we carpool!  Leave LRH every Thursday at 11:35am, and return by 1pm.  
Orientation Monday, Sept. 19th 5:30-6:30pm
